The questions remain the same but the answers tell their unique story. It’s time to explore and celebrate true representation beyond the limits of Hollywood.

Aaron Castillo (He/Him) is a director, screenwriter, and producer. Aaron studied at the University of Southern California, obtaining a Master’s Degree in Psychology and Cinematic Arts. Aaron began his career in front of the camera acting in commercials and securing his first national commercial with Levi's in 2018. In 2019, Aaron transitioned behind the camera producing his first short film, HIM & HER, which won Best Actor in the 2021 Nevada Short Film Festival.

What are you best known for?

I am a screenwriter, director and producer out here in Los Angeles. I would say of those three titles, I am best known as a director. I enjoy directing and producing the most so being known for directing is not only an honor but something I am really passionate about and proud to do.

What is the first thing you worked on?

I went to school at USC in Los Angeles but the first professional piece I wrote and directed was HIM & HER, a short film about a young woman with Dissociative Identity Disorder.

What are you working on that no one knows about yet?

Currently, I am working on a few things but the one that no one really knows about yet is a 4 piece SAG-AFTRA project consisting of a trailer, 2 shorts and a feature film.  I am the Executive Producer and one of the four screenwriters on this project. It's a romcom.  I am excited for the world to see what I have been cooking behind closed doors.
