Recording artist and consciousness revolutionary, NEO 10Y (They/Them), has debuted their new single VAPID PROPHECY, dubbed “the soundtrack to a spiritual revolution” – an action packed, celestial, genre-fusing, multi-dimensional trip with introspective and intricate cosmic lyricism that NEO 10Y is becoming known for. VAPID PROPHECY follows the release of the highly acclaimed SHORTCUT TO WORLD PEACE and showcases the epic prowess and presence of NEO 10Y. The ‘Stan Yourself’ singer has been actively performing the song on electric guitar for the last 10 months, from raves to the Roundhouse sharing their artistry and engaging live shows for a spiritual revolution. Their message is designed to help manifest a protopian dimension of peace on earth through ‘love’ energy. 

What are you best known for?

I am best known for my visionary and futurist work in music and spirituality, and helping humanity choose love and manifest a protopian dimension of peace. I make cerebral and subversive, genre bending post-pop combining intricate narratives with conscious lyricism, which decode the dualities of humxn existence. I vibe with a cinematic grunge / industrial rnb sound, and play piano and guitar. My music video universe is a hyper reality on YouTube; some have gone viral. My songs have been featured by Billboard, Paper, COLORS, Rolling Stone, Dazed, BBC, The Evening Standard, GQ, Gal Dem, Interview Magazine, plus major Apple, Spotify and TiDAL playlists including Glitch, Cosmic Playlists, Misfits 2.0, TRANSCEND, Discover Weekly, Your Daily Mix and more. I love playing live and my soul belongs on stage. My shows are 360º immersive experiences which have taken place everywhere from raves to the Roundhouse, concert venues, art galleries and festivals in London, Europe, and the USA. I also recently played the main stage at UK Black Pride and for Billboard magazine in New York City. Conscious leadership and a utopian future for humxnity are important to me, my universe is brought to life through my words, sonic landscape, visuals and work with PETA, The Vegan Society, BBC, National Geographic etc.

What is the first thing you worked on professionally?

I just released my song VAPID PROPHECY, which is a cerebral response to SHORTCUT TO WORLD PEACE. My purpose as an artist is to help people choose love, so that we can manifest a protopian dimension of peace on planet Earth. A part of me felt like the message of SHORTCUT TO WORLD PEACE was overlooked, because if people really cared, then they would have chosen love by now and the world would be in peace. But non vegans are still the majority and causing ongoing and irreversible damage to the planet and our collective by starting pandemics with animal agriculture, stopping solving world hunger, provoking environmental racism, not to mention the basic level oppression to animals, which has a ripple effect onto humans as speciesism is the root of all oppression. So I made VAPID PROPHECY as a song for a spiritual revolution, to inspire love and reiterate my message, but also to help people feel inspired and connected with their inner Goddex. For the video, I just wanted to be a baddie and show my Leo rising energy and stage presence, because I was literally playing dead in the video for SHORTCUT TO WORLD PEACE and I wanted this to be my Goddex resurrection era and create a dimensional narrative. 

What are you working on that no one knows about yet?

I just released my own multi-dimensional fragrance, Goddex and am finalizing my next single which is a powerful and tantric love song.
