Revry's Boss Up, The Musical Premiere Sells Out in Atlanta – Get Ready for A Global Debut

Revry, the world’s first LGBTQ+ streaming network, is thrilled to announce that the premiere of Boss Up, The Musical, presented by the Out on Film LGBTQ+ Film Festival, has officially sold out in Atlanta! This exciting milestone marks a major moment for both the film and the LGBTQ+ community, as audiences flock to witness the filmmaking debut of viral creator Tony Talks and his bold, heartwarming, and fabulously fun story of self-discovery.

Boss Up, The Musical follows the journey of Cassandra, a glamorous and uber-confident female executive who identifies as “fabulous and flawless.” When she unexpectedly loses her high-powered job, Cassandra’s world unravels, forcing her to rediscover who she is outside of the title that once defined her. The film’s exploration of self-love, empowerment, and resilience has struck a chord with viewers, leading to the highly anticipated premiere selling out within days of announcement.

“Being a creator who does so many characters, I often have to think of who I am outside of all this,” said Tony Talks. “That’s what inspired me to write the film—I relate to Cassandra. It’s called Boss Up because once her job is stripped from her, she has to discover who she is without the title. It’s been a labor of love, and I’m really excited for people to have a chance to see it on Revry.”

The sold-out premiere at Out on Film is only the beginning. Following its successful festival screening, Boss Up, The Musical will make its global streaming debut free on Revry on February 1, coinciding with Black History Month.

Tony Talks, who has amassed over 4.5 million followers across his social media platforms, brings his creative genius to Boss Up, conceiving the film’s original songs and dance numbers. Alongside him, musical artist Ocean Kelly joins a vibrant supporting cast in this colorful and joyful musical. Directed by Tee Johnson and Sydney Stewart, the film promises to be an unforgettable cinematic experience.

“Seeing Boss Up sell out at Out on Film just shows how hungry the world is for unapologetically queer stories like this,” said Damian Pelliccione, Co-Founder and CEO of Revry. “Cassandra is the embodiment of what it means to live out loud, without fear or hesitation. This movie is all about claiming your space, embracing your power, and finding joy in every moment. You better believe we’re celebrating this film’s success, and we can’t wait for the world to see it on Revry!”

With the premiere selling out so quickly, it’s clear that Boss Up, The Musical has already captured the hearts of its audience. If you missed out on tickets for the festival premiere, fear not!
