In this profile series, Revry is highlighting authentic contributors to the LGBTQ media and entertainment community. We ask questions to find out who they are and where they are going in the future. The questions remain the same but the answers tell their unique story. It’s time to explore and celebrate true representation beyond the limits of Hollywood.

Artie O'Daly (He/Him) is an actor/writer/producer born and based in Los Angeles. He earned his BA in Theatre Arts from California State University, Fullerton. Post-college, he put his focus on acting and became "that guy who played that part on that episode" of such series as MODERN FAMILY, SUPERSTORE, SILICON VALLEY, THE BIG BANG THEORY, GILMORE GIRLS, among others, as well as recurring on series such as GENERAL HOSPITAL and I THINK YOU SHOULD LEAVE WITH TIM ROBINSON.  As short-form content creation blossomed, he began writing comedic shorts and web series for his YouTube channel, Artie O'Daly & Co., including two seasons of the series SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE and twenty-seven episodes of his most popular work, BAD BOY. He continues to write, produce, direct, edit and act in content for the channel while working to include characters and stories inclusive and reflective of the LGBTQ community.

What are you best known for?

The comedic web series, BAD BOY. It began as a single short which quickly found a widespread, predominantly LGBTQ audience, and over the past four years as evolved into a series about a straight-laced writer who gets entangled with a family of criminals, a murder mystery, and a seemingly endless array of bad boys.

What is the first thing you worked on professionally?

My very first paid acting gig was at a computer convention called Comdex in Las Vegas.  We put on a stage show every fifteen minutes where I played a young son introducing this amazing new technology called "the DVD".

What are you working on that no one knows about yet?

I just wrapped the first season of BAD BOY, so now I've got a list of about two dozen sketch ideas on my phone.  I'd like to try something new creatively, so I'm going to spend June figuring out which ideas I want to write into scripts and produce for my YouTube channel. So, at this point, I don't even know what exactly will be next!
