What are you best known for?

Filmmaking as art has always been part of my life. After my time in the USA, I came back to Brazil and worked in a production company called Querosene Filmes. I started as their editing intern and less than a year later, I assumed the director chair of the TV Show Experiencias Gastronomicas airing on a local TV Station.

What is the first thing you directed?

One of the first things I directed was a short film called THE DATE about a husband cheating on his wife with another man, just for later to find out she was cheating on him too. It was made in the Sight and Sound Class at NYU Tisch.

What are you working on that no one knows about yet?

I am currently working on the CHASING THE DRAGON TV Series. This series was born out of the short film CHASING THE DRAGON directed by me in 2018. The series concept was also selected for the Film Independent Workshop “Toolkit: Developing and Pitching a TV Series” by Marlana Hope and Cyrus Voris, who contributed significantly to this project. It is an hour-long, LGBT thriller series exploring gender identity and law enforcement under the optics of underrepresented characters in a small religious town in conservative Utah c. mid-2000s. The seasons would be between 6 to 8 episodes long following a thriller and suspenseful tone.
