Featured December Revry Highlights

This December we are dedicated to sharing stories from our growing LGBTQ-first community. In addition, we are focusing on important holidays including World AIDS Day, Human Rights Day, and, of course, Christmas. Check out what Revry is streaming in the month of December.

December 1, 2021, World AIDS Day

Pushing Dead

When a struggling writer, HIV positive for 20+ years, accidentally deposits a $100 birthday check, he is dropped from his health plan for earning too much. In this new era of sort-of universal care, can he take on a helpless bureaucracy or come up with $3000 a month to buy meds on his own?

Memories of a Penitent Heart

Combining a wealth of recently discovered home movies, video, and written documents with artfully shot contemporary interviews and vérité footage, Memories Of A Penitent Heart is a documentary that cracks open a Pandora’s box of unresolved family drama. Memories Of A Penitent Heart is a cautionary tale about the unresolved conflicts wrought by AIDS, and a nuanced exploration of how faith is used and abused in times of crisis.

December 3, 2021, Person with Disabilities Day

LIMP

Limp follows Sean, a young gay man with cerebral palsy as he navigates dating with a disability in New York City. After meeting a man he believes is a perfect match, he decides to lie about his disability, saying he sprained his ankle at the gym. This white lie leads to series of events and missteps that make Sean examine the way he presents himself and his condition to the world.

December 10, 2021, Human Rights Day

Love v. Kentucky

An intimate account of how two Kentucky attorneys with no background in civil rights navigate their passionate opponents, wrangle their reluctant allies, and convince the U.S. Supreme Court to rewrite our nation’s definition of marriage.
