iamChloeMartinez and the Debut of Different

Chloe Martinez

In this profile series, Revry is highlighting authentic contributors to the queer media and entertainment community. We ask questions to find out who they are and where they are going in the future. The questions remain the same but the answers tell their unique story. It’s time to explore and celebrate true representation beyond the limits of Hollywood.

Never one to blend in, proud Gibraltarian, iamChloeMartinez, (She/They), always stood out- “like a drag queen at church”, something she was ashamed of and now encourages through her TikToks and music warming hearts worldwide. Chloe became known in Gibraltar by accidentally becoming a young musical  prodigy after recovering from a severe illness at 9 years old. Before her 18th birthday, Chloe had performed to; royalty, in festivals like MTV Calling and Harley Davidson and even became a European Choral Champion. After receiving a scholarship, Chloe moved to London to pursue music and started TikTok, following her sister’s advice during the pandemic that led her to be here today. Recently, Chloe released a music video, DIFFERENT, as an inclusive charity single where proceeds help shelter homeless LGBTQ+ Youth via AKT Charity. DIFFERENT is about celebrating diversity and being proud to embrace your own truth, something Chloe hopes you do too.
