What are you best known for?
I am most known for being an LA based backing vocalist (Tisha Campbell, LaPorsha Renae, Kanye West’s Sunday Service Collective), independent R&B artist, and former contestant on FOX’s ‘The Four’ Season 2.
Although my time on the show was brief, I made sure to leave on a high note and make an impact with each performance. Since first appearing on the show in 2018, I’ve been blessed to continue performing across the country, expanding my fanbase, and growing as an artist.
What is the first song you wrote?
The first song I officially wrote and released was a heartbreak ballad titled “You Just Don’t Care” back in 2013-14 when I was a student at Clark-Atlanta University in Atlanta GA. I performed the song numerous times both on and off campus, and the support I received from that single led to me releasing my first EP entitled “Finally” in the summer of 2016 Even though I’ve grown a lot as an artist since then, those first two pieces of original music will always hold a special place in my heart.
What are you working on that no one knows about yet?
Right now, I am mainly promoting my third EP entitled “Beloved” which I first dropped back in November of 2020. Supporters are still discovering that I have new music and visuals out so I wanna make sure everyone gets a chance to sit with the new material before I start to get back in my bag and work on even more new music for the new year. . I’m taking a bit of time off to work on myself, learn new lessons, and let life happen so that when I do begin working on new music, I’ll be able to walk into that space with a clear, fresh vision and new songs in my heart that I want to share.
