Gsus Lopez (He/Him) is a writer-director based between The UK and Spain, with a passion for celebratory, uplifting, and joyous queer and working-class stories. Since graduating with his BA in Media from the University of the Arts London in 2014, he has been selected as a member of the BFI Network x BAFTA Crew, and Berlinale Talents. Gsus has directed a few award-winning short films, fashion films and music videos, with his crowd-funded short OUT, and then premiering online with FOTOGRAMAS. Gsus is currently in preproduction of a new short film titled NAILS. He's recently finished writing the script for his debut feature film HISTORIA DE MADRUGADA, a queer drama set in Madrid.

What is the first thing you worked on?

A queer and surreal short film titled EPHEMERAL NATURE whilst I was still studying at the University of the Arts London.

Another feature-length script which is titled LA PRESA.
