It’s time to celebrate the winners of the 2021 Dorian Awards with Revry on Sunday, April 18th. You may ask yourself, what are the Dorian Awards? Why should I tune in?

The Dorian Awards were created and named by GALECA, the society of LGBTQ entertainment critics, after Oscar Wilde who was notable for his beautiful works of literature and crucial presence in the gay rights movement.

The glorious awards night, hosted by Gay entertainment and broadcasting veteran Karel, will honor the finest in film and television, both mainstream and LGBTQ+ focused. Nominations include critically acclaimed TV shows and films in exciting categories such as ‘The Wilde Artist Award’ sponsored by Stoli, which honors groundbreaking forces in entertainment. The Dorians award winners are voted on by the members of GALECA.

Presenters include director Lee Daniels (“The United States vs. Billie Holiday”), Cheyenne Jackson (“Call Me Kat”), actress Gabourey Sidibe (“Precious,” “Antebellum”), Harmony Valle-Ramirez (“Room To Grow”), Rafael Silva (“Fluidity,” “9-1-1 Lone Star”), comedian Margaret Cho, Charo, and more.

Revry is broadcasting this special award show across all platforms to honor the truly inspirational creatives within the entertainment industry. Get your popcorn ready and watch the Dorians Film Toast 2021 TV special this Sunday, April 18th at 8pm EST/5pm PST on Revry.
