In an impressive nod to its commitment to diversity and representation, Revry, the LGBTQ+ streaming network, has been honored with a Special Recognition award at the 35th GLAAD Media Awards for its acclaimed series "Drag Latina".

For pioneering LGBTQ+-focused video-streaming service Revry, it’s been a complicated time, but, its founders say, a crucial one for a service trying to provide underserved audiences with shows that speak to their lives, while connecting brands safely with a substantial, lucrative core audience.

“There has to be a real conversation, a real engagement and a real awareness that this is a community that is intersectional.”

Revry co-founders, Alia Daniels, LaShawn McGhee, Damian Pelliccione and Christopher Rodriguez, along with the talented winner of Drag Latina season 1, Vicky Chavarria, made a grand appearance at the Samsung Tiny Home during LA Pride on Saturday, June 10th.

LGBTQ+ streamer Revry surprised advertisers with a presentation far more fabulous than the typical pitch, Ad Age’s Parker Herren writes. The media programmer showcased its content through a “Wizard of Oz”-themed musical, called the “Wizard of Yaaaaas,” on the NewFronts main stage.
