OTT.X and the Entertainment Merchants Association awarded Damian Pelliccione, CEO and co-founder of Revry the “Hero Award”. The award recognizes mission driven excellence and is from industry peers. Alia J. Daniels, COO and co-founder of Revry delivered the introduction at the Los Angeles event.

Bassem ben Brahim (She,He) is a Queer film director from Tunisia. Bassem graduated in image design at the Higher Institute of Fine Arts, Nabeul Tunisia. He got his Masters in editing from the School of Audiovisual and Cinema Gammart ESAC. He has directed two animated films; CHROMOPHOBIA and THE RED FISH in 2019 around the issue of gender and sexuality.

Crowned the LGBTQ+ “Destination of the Year” by Gay Travel Awards in 2016, Las Vegas has LGBTQ+ friendly activities throughout the city with something for everyone. 

School’s back in session and as everyone is getting ready for the new year, Revry is promoting a list of films and series that serve to accommodate and accept queer youth.

Angela Harvey (She/Her) grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and currently resides in NC. Ms. Harvey, a proud and never closeted lesbian is a motivational speaker, counselor, self-identified GROWTHologist; and just recently became a director of her first documentary. Angela has empowered others via radio; Conversations with Angie Harvey, produced several personal GROWTH videos: Keeping It Real Series, and facilitated hundreds of personal GROWTH workshops, presentations, retreats and keynotes with 60+ organizations, companies, and colleges.

Roberto Nascimento (He/Him) was born in Brazil with a very mixed heritage and moved to New Zealand 20 years ago. He is a director, producer, writer, and actor who is passionate about queer stories. As a gay Latino man, representation is very important to him, so one of his main passions is bringing LGBTQIA+ stories to life. His more recent works are his queer web series SUI GENERIS, a short series called SKY TOWER and he’s currently adapting his short film BOYFRIEND into a feature film.

Nancy Pop (She/Her) is an award-winning Romanian-American actress and producer based in New York. Her work often dissects the permeable moments between thriller and comedy, telling stories of intimacy and lesser explored truths with elements of camp. Her films have screened across the globe throughout North America, London, Turkey, Paris, and Bucharest, winning several awards including “Best Feature” and “Best Comedy” for her directing work on the feature film, POETS ARE THE DESTROYERS.

Over his 35-year career, JC Calciano (He/Him) has worked in nearly all corners of the entertainment business: from major studio blockbusters, independent features, and reality television to documentaries, music videos, webisodes, and podcasts.
